The St Lucia citizenship by investment program was launched in 2015.
The Citizenship by Investment Act and its amendments regulate program rules.

The minimum investment is $100,000.
Candidates choose from 4 options.
There are options for
1 – government funds
2 – government bond purchases
3 – Real Estate
4 – business investments.

The investor can put the money up for sale within 5 years by redemption of bonds or selling real estate.
Investors obtain citizenship through a simplified procedure.

They do not need to obtain a residence permit, live in the country or take a language proficiency test.
The investor’s spouse, children, parents and siblings can obtain citizenship under the investment program.
